Classification list for Medical devices and IVD published

The Indian Authority for medical devices CDSCO publishes a 68 pages list of products classified as Class A, B, C, D according to the new 2017 MDR (see India published the "Medical Device Rules 2017" ).

This four tier classification list will enable the manufacturers identifying the applicable route for product registration following the newly introduced regulatory approach.
